The Campbelltown Council has voted to redevelop the Max Amber Sportsfield at Athelstone, a key commitment I took to the election with $5m of Federal funding support now delivered.
The plans involve the construction of new clubrooms and a re-aligned oval for the Athelstone Football Club, new facilities for the tennis club, the installation of two multipurpose netball courts, and more car parking. This is a major step forward for the project with major works due to start at the end of the 2020 football season.
I will keep you up to date on this development and other key local projects such as the Kensington Gardens Reserve Upgrade and the Magill Village Project as they progress. Please visit my website or follow me on Facebook to stay tuned to all the latest news.
