The Federal Government is investing $3 million to deliver the Kensington Gardens Reserve upgrade.

This is an important project for the Burnside community and is an example of the Federal Government yet again delivering for the people of Sturt.

The total project will see $6 million invested to deliver:

  • a functional wetland;
  • environmental improvements to Stonyfell Creek;
  • eight reconfigured tennis courts with lighting;
  • nature play features and biodiversity education for children; and
  • opportunities for use of treated water for Reserve irrigation.

The Burnside Council will be managing the delivery of the Kensington Gardens Reserve upgrade.
